0% error rate in one step

With automated EOL inspection, no tested components leave production that do not meet the specified quality criteria. Correctly designed/constructed Anovis test benches achieve the required process capability in accordance with the measurement system analysis (MSA).

Reduction of returns

Our customers have been able to drastically reduce the number of returns and save costs as a result. The cost reduction is usually so high that the purchase of the Anovis system pays for itself within 6 to 12 months.

Simcenter Anovis is a complete system comprising hardware and software for automated fault detection in the production line. The components vary depending on the customer configuration and application scenario. The main core components are

Integration and automation

Via "Test Connect", Simcenter Anovis enables simple integration into PLC-controlled production lines using industry protocols such as OPC UA. The test systems are automatically synchronized with the control processes, increase production efficiency and support quality assurance through direct communication with the production systems.

Data acquisition

Hardware components enable the collection and processing of data from various signal sources such as sensors, microphones and acceleration sensors. These components are connected to software for recording, managing and analyzing large volumes of measurement data.

Signal processing for automated error detection

Simcenter Anovis includes a wide range of signal processing functions, including filtering, transient analysis, spectral analysis, and time-frequency analysis. These functions process measurement data in a way that allows quality-related anomalies in components to be detected and evaluated.

Acoustic markers and signal analysis with Simcenter Anovis

The Anovis analysis software evaluates acoustic markers to automatically inspect components according to defined quality criteria. The Chameleon software component also enables intelligent result evaluation that goes beyond the “OK” and “NOK” classifications. This allows the system to identify test specimens that, while falling within the specified limits, deviate from the expected pattern.

Reporting and visualization

Anovis provides a graphical user interface where current and historical measurement data can be loaded and analyzed to identify anomalies, compare parts/batches, etc. This facilitates communication and the exchange of information between the departments involved and supports data-driven decision-making.
